None, probably, and that’s precisely the point. Practically speaking, these “training exercises” are useless. All they serve to do is remind people that they should still be afraid of the terrists* and fool people into thinking that law enforcement is in any way prepared to handle a serious attack. I’m tired enough of hearing about terrorism as it is; the fact that these exercises — executed using tax money — are shown on TV just about every other week really bugs me.

One question for those people. Which anti-terorist or law-enforcement organization around the World could have stopped or lower the number of victim, and how they would have done that? I am very curious.

As per “Japanese destroyers NOT ALLOWED to assist others”, please blame DPL, Communist and Socialist parties for preventing Japan to become a responsible member in the Intl issues.

It really shows that Japan has the most experience in dealing with Japanese terrorists against their own country, not International terrorists.

And aren’t Japanese destroyers NOT ALLOWED to assist other ships if they’re a certain distance away?

I understand that preparing for large-scale incidents is difficult, but these exercises are just ludicrous.

So they know how to deal with “terrorists” who phone in advance, operate alone, and carry maybe a cheap handgun. Great.
So they know how to fire off warning flares against “pirates”, hover nearby in helicopters, yell at them, and line up in front of them. Great.
