Yeah, I’m of the same opinion. I guess I tried most of those Japanese ones. The original American peanuts butter is way better that other ones. The American one has deep taste and not that sweet.

But the thing is that the other Japanese ones are much cheaper than the American one.

Oh, I think I　know that peanut cream!! . That is mizuame (starch syrup) whose color is somehow similar to peanut butter.
I don’t go so far as to say that it is not fit for human consumption, but if you expect it to taste like peanut, you’ll be surely disappointed.

Actually i liked the peanut cream as well. So please Overthinker, don’t say to people to avoid it, or to not buy it, as maybe they would like it. It’s just your opinion, not an absolute fact.

No, that cannot be correct. When someone states their views on a subject then that is always fact. When someone says “Nagai Go is amazing!” then there is no room for debate. After all, he didn’t say “I think” and we all know that without those magic words then what is obviously an opinion is going to be seen as a statement of fact.

The peanut cream I tried was more of a butter spread. It doesn’t have the texture as real peanut butter, and is not meant to be eaten straight out of the container. Too much nama cream mixed in.

I tried american style peanut butter two or three times and I don’t like it at all.

The taste test seemed to be poorly conducted. If I get it right, the tester didn’t gargle some water between the bites, thus mixing the tastes.

I don’t know this peanut style sandwich that he dissed, but those sandwiches come with a variety of fillings. I tried some, and they were ok. Especially the one made with curry. Hey, it’s a cheap conbini snack, and there a worse things you can find in a conbini for that kind of money.

You ARE so biased! They probably made peanut butter for Americans and thought they made it better! Personally, I don’t eat any peanut butter.
