Hillary Clinton visits Meiji Shrine

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is in Japan today, and she visited the Meiji Shrine this morning:

In the several public appearances she made today, Hillary repeatedly stressed the importance of America’s relationship with Japan. She also announced that Taro Aso would be going to Washington next week, making him the first foreign leader to visit and meet with Obama since the new president took office (a meeting of doubtful importance, since Aso seems unlikely to maintain his position much longer).

Just look back at how some of the other politicians acted when in Japan, for example the G8 summit.

Hillary did well for her first time, and picking Japan was a good choice for the first trip. Unlike Bush who puked on Japan’s prime minister, Hillary also behaved with less arrogance that Americans are known for in recent years.

You know, its hard for Americans to start working when there are no jobs out there. Last month alone, American employers cut another 600,000 jobs. Another thing, America is still the largest economy in the world, and I doubt that would be the case if the country was lazy.

If you want to post a statement, why don’t you have some facts to back up with it.
