Tiny Italian restaurant in Tokyo

A look at a very very small Italian Restaurant at Kyodo Station on Tokyo’s Odakyu Odawara Line:

The store takes up an area of only 4.59 square meters, which only allows enough space for a tiny cooking area and 4 seats for customers. The owner and chef is a foreigner, but for some reason the program did not mention his exact nationality (the store does have a British flag on the wall). Despite the small size of the restaurant, he is able to make some pretty good pasta. If all goes well, he’ll soon be squeezing a pizza oven into his kitchen area!

Thanks for such a great entry! Ha ha. That video was fun. I love how content the owner is with such a small shop – to the point that he dreams of further “expanding” and customizing, while keeping it pretty small. I’d definitely eat there. (I gotta say, one benefit of being on my tiny, rural island is that my rent is STILL half of his. ¥19,000, baby.)

Correct me if i’m wrong. Thought the line is just called Odakyu line. Not Odakyu Odawara Line. Kyodo station is a major stop. So he must get some good business.

My rent is much much higher. But then again I don’t have to settle for Iwate-pretty girls. You get what you pay for baby!!

Odakyu Odawara Line is commonly referred to as simply Odakyu Line as it is the primary line the company operates but it is indeed officially called Odawara Line. Odakyu runs other lines as well.
