I used to think that Taishukan's 'Genius' English-Japanese dictionary was pretty bad for including arcane definitions, but I can't recall seeing anything in Genius to rival those examples. They provide reverse entries via 'waeijiro', which are basically useless. Using eijiro as anything other than a ei-ja dictionary is wasting your time.
