Japanese man banned from entering Philippines for abusing his Filipina wife in Japan
A Japanese man accused of beating and raping his Filipina wife will not be allowed to enter the Philippines:
Shinichi Ikeda, 59, has been placed on the immigration blacklist order following a request made by the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA), Immigration Commissioner Marcelino Libanan said in a statement Sunday.
Libanan said Ikeda is a subject of a complaint for domestic violence filed by his Filipina wife.
“A foreigner who beats his wife is a menace to the society and who does not deserve our hospitality,” the Immigration commissioner said.
Libanan said the DFA had already issued a circular to all Philippine missions abroad ordering them not to issue Philippine visa to Ikeda, who is now considered an undesirable alien.

as you see this case has nothing to do with nationality, i too wouldn´t let a known rapist into my country.

Hmmmm, seems reasonable, but then again it would have been funny if they replaced “Japanese man” w/ “Hand Banana” and “Filipina wife” w/ “Carl” and “Banned from the Philippines” to “tonight…YOU!”…………..but then again we can’t get all we wish for

As long as due process was followed, there would be no problem.
The question is if this Japanese man was arrested and tried in Japan (or in Philippines) or if it is just a claim by his Filipino wife.
But come to think of it, perhaps Japan should ban “an undesirable alien” based on the complaint by a private citizen—-just kidding.(^^;)

Maybe, maybe not. what is certain is that your mind-reading failed last time.

Commenting on the reasonably obvious from available evidence is hardly mind-reading. Whether you personally agree or disagree doesnt make it one or the other.
But in this case – “Maybe, maybe not” – is not a flat out denial, so I fear my comment (above) may indeed be quite valid.

What is certain is you often fail to see obvious from available evidence.

Maybe, maybe not.
But what is certain is your “kidding” about wishing for openly fascist measures against “undesirable” foreigners is a pretty lame attempt at humor.

He abused his wife in Japan, she left him, he then agreed to meet her at the train station and get her a flight back to the Philippines. He met her and instead took her to a house, stripped her, raped her repeatedly for a few days and beat her. She barely escaped with her life. Or so she says//////////////

This case is not about nationality; It’s about whatever measures to prevent this incident in getting any worse. If a person abuses another, it will be an irresistable pleasure; a sensual gratification that if left unhandled, may result into severe consequences so I think the man deserves to be banned.
