Kids: Ueno Zoo and that little amusement park in front of it would be perfect. They’ll be up early enough for it (jetlag) and be exausted when it closes at 5 so that will be perfect and right in Tokyo.

For all the adults? Depends on their intrests really. If they want they can go with their kids to the zoo and have a pretty decent time, or leave the kids with a nanny and hit one of the museums in the area, but those are usually busy as all hell.
They could also hit up Harajuku, Shibuya or Shinjuku and just do the shopping thing.

Mom and Dad: Yea Fuji onsen.

Best Restaraunt? This little 12 person Curry restaraunt that’s off the road in Kita Senju. Best fucking curry EVER.
