Do you know how f'ing dangerous that is. I am in Ninjutsu and we learn sword play (in order to outsmart samurai sword play like shown here, and take advantage of the openings) but we never get to touch a real sword until probably about two years in, and then the grandmaster has to deem that you show good control and you aren't a latent psychopath waiting to lay waste to your colleagues via Japanese steel. Even then, in regular practice we would even after all that, still use boken (wood swords) because we only use steel in exercises to experience how much force it takes to go through something. So yeah, long story short I find it crazy that they have real katana and yes I am also a little jealous. I have wanted one for YEARS!!! Why the hell do the learners have real swords in their hands. I think you mean is Katana. a japanese long sword. and use it to cut tatami mats in pieces, instead, it's way more fun. but i get ur jokes.
