African American enka singer Jero gives some American sunflower seeds to Sanma-san:

Sanma-san assures Jero not to be worried about what he’s doing, since somebody will come by later and clean the mess up with a vacuum cleaner.

Jero’s manners beat Sanma’s hands-down. (Was Sanma actually trying to be funny?) I wonder if the cleaners were as amused by all those sunflower seed husks as he seemed to be.

jero’s talent agency is getting him the right gigs. sanma will be sanma. i learned that working on his show for 2-years.

at any rate, i want jero to stay positive and continue to do the right thing. i say this with the understanding of how frickin’ ruthless/shady the agencies and networks can be!

jero’s star will continue to rise and as voiced by some bloggers, that does not sit too well with them.

off topic (sorry mod): i wonder if more blacks will have “positive” television gigs and increased opportunity in japan now that obama will be the new face of america.
