Pingmag comes to an end

January 1st, 2009 by James

Pretty depressing news:

pingmag

PingMag, the Tokyo-based magazine about “Design and Making Things,” has halted publication due to money problems brought about by the global financial crisis.

This is a damn shame, since PingMag/PingMag MAKE has long been one of the best Japan-related sites on the net. We wish its staff the best of luck in finding new work, and hope that things will one day improve to a point where the magazine can be resumed.

I’ve never heard of these guys. I now have to read everything before their website is gone! They have some nice articles.
