		<description>The Chinese zodiac and the lunar calendar are not based on the same systems.  The Chinese zodiac signs are based on an agricultural solar calendar and overlap with the lunar calendar by two weeks.

Westerners no longer observe the Babylonian system of time, but we&#039;ve adapted the Astrological signs to the Gregorian calendar.</description>
