Lion King parody song about Japanese succession controversy
Emperor Akihito has been having some health problems lately, apparently brought on by the stress of a strained relationship with his son, Crown Prince Naruhito.
In a post about how Japanese bloggers have reacted to the feud within the Imperial family, Scilla Alecci of Global Voices shared this Lion King parody animation that sums up the feud between Naruhito and his brother Prince Akishino:
