Hello Kitty Hospital
I guess that Kitty-chan is popular enough in Taiwan for an entrepreneur to launch a Hello Kitty hospital:
The 30-bed Hau Sheng Hospital in Yuanlin in central Taiwan is reportedly the world’s first Hello Kitty themed medical establishment.
From blankets and birth certificates to cots and uniforms worn by staff, every aspect of the Hello Kitty hospital is emblazoned with the feline motif.
Patients are welcomed by a statue of Hello Kitty dressed in a doctor’s uniform, before travelling in a Hello Kitty elevator to a pink examination room with Hello Kitty posters on the wall.
The hospital’s director Tsai Tsung-chi opened the £2m (T$100m) hospital in his hometown after obtaining authorisation from the fictitious cat’s Japanese parent company Sanrio Co Ltd.

How awkward would it be to tell your children that you were born in a Hello Kitty Hospital
at least there they MAY have enough staff so that no one is turned away. now being turned away from a hospital is awkward.
Less awkward than being conceived in a hello kitty themed love hotel.
This is really cool. I like the idea because it makes the hospital seem less … sterile and scary. Imagine a GI Joe wing, or Transformers wing or Ninja Turtles.
All hospitals should do stuff like this.
Brad- while I agree its cool and can be useful, i dont think ALL hospitals SHOULD do this, because it takes money away from more important things a medical establishment may need. but if they have the extra money and are paying fair salaries to its staff, then yeah, i think hospitals should try this stuff out
