Star Wars Parrot

The Japanese owner of this parrot is a huge Star Wars fan, and his love for the movies seems to have rubbed off on his pet. Here’s a video of the bird singing along with Star Wars music and imitating Darth Vader:

Call me a geek, but that’s really really cool!

I wonder if the parrot learned just by watching the film over and over, or if the owner sat down with it and trained it to do that. I’m no parrot trainer, but I’m betting on the latter!

@ Harvey: That’s an African Grey parrot, I have one of my own and from experience they can easily learn either way. Some things they learn after hearing multiple times, and some things they pick up on their own very quickly.
