Is nobody considering the fact that elite athletes like her often have very strict dietary regimes? It’s not unusual for them to follow routines which they don’t want to disrupt, so there could be a psychological element to her refusal. Besides, miso katsu is hardly a health food…

i live in Nagoya, but i really dont like miso katsu. Miso soup is ok, but miso katsu the taste is too overpowering :<

No youv’e missed the point , now the Japanese right wing who hate China wil use this to undermine the alreday shaky relationship between the two asian giants comparig Guo’s refusal of tasting the exotic and local nagoyian cusine as china’s justified refusal to forget Japan’s part of WW2.
