wow…yeah, he kinda sucks, but after watching the whole thing I cheered with him when he finally met obama, “My name is obama!” lol it was hilarious! Obama was like “oh, that’s nice” lol. Wow, that was just…wow.

Which Democratic foreign policy thing is that?

Recognising China and killing the gold standard without informing Japan first (Nixon)?

Negotiating a devaluation of the dollar that Japan did not really want so as to stem Japanese import flows. Then, when this only made the Japanese economy seem even more strong and did nothing to stop Americans buying Japanese products, attempting to push Japan to “voluntarily” reduce the amount of stuff its exporters sold the United States and (Reagan and Bush I)?

Pressuring Japan for significant contributions to the Gulf War and then bitching when it “only” funded a third of the entire war effort, imposing a once off tax on its citizens that Americans probably wouldn’t tolerate (Bush I)?

Taking North Korea off the terrorist threat list, leaving Japan in the lurch (Bush II)?

In contrast, Democratic presidents, while they may ignore Japan from time to time, are at least generally pretty predictable.
