Obama is the 44th president. The number 4 is not so lucky in Japan. Please take care while you party!

44 is “shishi” which can mean 獅子 (lion) as well. 志士, man of valour, used in the Meiji Restoration, is another good one. 四肢 is less relevant….

Sadly this is situation of: 願い事は慎重に
(Be Careful What You Wish For)
This win is a classic hot toxic potato——Obama inherits an economic Great Depression from the war-criminal Bush.

This is history repeating itself. I mean really repeating itself; like Déjà vu.
In 1992 in the wake of George H. W. Bush’s term in office, over 14% of Americans lived in poverty with nearly 8% unemployed as we entered into a recession. Immediately after, a Democrat was elected who later fixed the economy. (When we actually had a surplus)
In 2008 in the wake of George W. Bush’s terms, here we are back in recession, and even worse than his father’s time. (Talk about trying to out-do your old man!) Here comes our next Democrat.

Do the people in Obama city believe this will help them to boost the economy of the city ? Otherwise, it’s not a joke that this party is being held by tax payers’ money.

Obviously they got to be hoping it will. I bet some of the locals probably are sitting around their local Snacks right now chatting about how they hope Obama will come there and they can instantly erect a new city building and train station for the event.

I didn’t know Obama was Japanese. But clearly from their drawings, he is.
Naturally.

Clinton was a good president on the economy, not great. He benefited from the dot com boom that burst just as bad as the housing bubble. He bears some responsibility for the government’s affordable housing objective (loosening of lending standards) which resulted in the latter. He did keep capitals gains tax at a reasonable level, which Obama has promised to raise.
If Obama was Japanese and he ran for the prime minister position, do you believe he’ll win? The Bill Ayers and Rev. Jeremiah was largely a non issue in the United States, but I think such radicals would seriously damage any politician in Asia. Koreans elect crooks all the time, but they ain’t voting for anyone whose friend trampled the Taeguki under his boots and loudly proclaim his desire to overthrow the country.
