BamGoo – bamboo-made electric car
An electric car with a body made out of bamboo:


Single-seat bamboo-made electrical car “BamGoo” is displayed in Kyoto city, western Japan, Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008. The 60-kg ecologically-friendly concept car is developed by the city and the Kyoto University, featuring local bamboo ware technology. The car can run for some 50 kilometers (30 miles) on a charge.

Uh that’s nothing. Look’s like they just wove bamboo to make the shell of the car.
Here’s a guy in America that truly grows frames of bikes using bamboo. He also uses bonsai techniques to help form the frame. Surprised the Japanese media hasn’t picked up on it yet…
