Softbank to sell diamond-studded mobile phones

The world might be in the midst of a financial crisis, but Softbank seems to believe they find buyers interested in diamond-studded mobile phones. Ten special edition mobile phones will be sold, each studded with 537 18.34 karat diamonds. Each phone will sell for a price of about 133 thousand dollars. Starting today, the general public will be able to view them on display at the Softbank store in Omotesando Hills and the Tiffany’s in the Tokyo Marunouchi building.
