How many Japanese does it take to change a lightbulb?

Another photograph attempts to answer an age-old question:

The last time such a question/photo appeared on Japan Probe, the answer was eight. This time it seems to be four: two to hold the ladder, one to take notes, and another to actually change the light bulb.

Actually, it took eight – the other four put out the cones, and are currently just outside the photo, redirecting the traffic.

They are Tenjo-kudari busters. If you are living in Japan, be careful when you open the ceiling access panels. In Japanese buildings, Tenjo-kudari are living in the roof space. At least four people are necessary to catch them safely.
