Video: CEATEC Japan 2008
A clip from Fuji TV news previewing some of the cool robots and gadgets on display at the CEATEC JAPAN 2008 technology expo:
In this clip you can see:
- Murata bicycle-riding robot and his unicycling sister robot
- A 3-d display from Pioneer that can have its image absorbed onto a mobile phone screen
- A mobile phone that can be split into two pieces so one can check information on its display while talking to someone with the other half of the phone.
- A robot developed by Nissan that uses insect-like motion sensors to avoid colliding with objects.

Can’t say I’m enthused by the bicycle/unicycle-riding robots. The detachable keitai is cool, but where’s my damn keyboard Japan?
PS: You used your English-speaking instincts and inserted an “R” into the show name. It’s just “CEATEC”
