Video report on Dwango

September 12th, 2008 by James

Here’s a Reuters video report on Dwango, the company that operates Nico Nico Douga (a Japanese language site similar to YouTube):

Dwango, a pioneer in tone tunes and with over 9 million using its “Nico Nico Douga” video-sharing, wants to double customers and return to profit.

President Hiroshi Kobayashi says ties with Yahoo and international expansion should help ring home profits as its user base expands.
