Junichiro Koizumi goes bowling

Junichiro Koizumi and other members of the Association of Diet Members for Promoting Bowling held a meeting on the 13th in Tokyo. Here’s FTV’s news coverage of the event:

Koizumi made at least one strike for the news cameras, and his final score was an 149.

173 is average? Maybe if you bowl regularly in a league. In all the years I’ve gone bowling with fellow unpolished amateurs, I’ve never seen anybody roll 173. Considering that and Mr. Koizumi’s age (he’s older than he looks), I’d say 149 is pretty good.

149 is pretty darn good. Hitting 173 is really good. Like feitclub said above, I bet that’s a league average – definitely not a score that most people get without lots and lots of practice. Guessing you’re not a bowler, James?
