McDonald’s Japan raises prices again
Rising fuel costs and rising food prices has led McDonald’s Japan to announce its second price hike of 2008:
Company officials say prices will rise by less than 5 percent, as the cost of purchasing meat, bread, potatoes and other ingredients is expected to increase by about 10 billion yen during the current business year.

If only they could increase their obesity rate cheaply like the Americans.

In my Japan days I usually spent 1000 yen easily at McDonald’s and never gained an ounce.
