August 5th, 2008 by James

It’s finally here (at least for Tokyo/Yokohama, Osaka/Kobe/Kyoto, Sendai, Hakodate, Otaru, and Sapporo):

Nice. Good way to check out potential housing area without having to physically go there with the realtor.

easy to use and very cool, with many applications for sure. anyone recognize any pedestrians yet?

google implements ‘face-blurring’ software. you can be the judge of weather it works or not…

All the shops in Shibuya Center Gai are closed…

I wonder if they planned it that way. Way too crazy to go through there with a crowd of people getting in the way… Shibuya as a whole doesn’t look nearly as busy.

Very cool!

I checked my old stomping grounds in Namba, Osaka, and the shops are closed there as well. My guess is they took all these pics early in the morning before the narrow streets got full of people. =)

Either that or on a early closing day. Browsing around our old digs in Sakura Shin-Machi I noticed by the sunshine it would have been maybe 3-4 in the afternoon in early spring.

Was surprised to see the nice old house across the street from our place is complete gone.

Our neighbour also has painted her house light blue!!

Damn this is fun!
