I just found out about this town in a new anime series running this summer. The pictures look fantastic, I hope to be able to swing by there someday.

Biei is my favorite town. I personally advice to rent a moped there, rather than a car. That way, you can park anywhere you like and snap photos of greatly beautiful scenery.
