iPhone Trooper

Blogger Danny Choo showed up to the iPhone launch in Omotesando in Stormtrooper attire, producing the following music video:

I can only imagine how uncomfortable it must have been dancing around wearing that costume on a hot and humid summer day in Tokyo!

He epitomizes everything that is so completely wrong with Japan, the world, Star Wars, and the US.

How can you let this monkey do this, and let him keep on doing it?

He makes a mockery out of everything that could be cool and good about how a foreign moron can be something he’s not, by living in somebody else’s country, commenting on everything he doesn’t have, cannot be or will ever be.

Such a sad, sad state of affairs.

And he still doesn’t realize that he is shaming his own silly Chinese people.

Seems like your issues with Danny are little more than misdirected hostility stemming from your own insecurities and unhappiness with your life. May I suggest something? Do a little self-analysis and dedicate yourself to bettering yourself. Its much better for you than tearing others down. I’ve been there and understand the feeling. Its not fun.

I’m not a fan of the Danny or his videos, but I think HW has some issues he needs to work out that aren’t necessarily stemming from what Danny Choo is doing in his Storm Trooper outfit.

I am not a reader of his site. but I sometimes think dancing on the street in Stormtrooper attire is his way of communicating with the Japanese people;Communication without language beyond nationality. Watching the video, unfortunately it seems not many people are paying attention to him anymore;I guess he needs to dance in Darth Vader attire.

I don’t read Danny Choo’s site often either but I think that his doing the stormtrooper dance is no different from the other people who do ヲタ芸 in the streets (especially in Akihabara).

Saw a bloke in full stormtrooper gear getting off the Yamanote at Meguro that morning, must’ve been him I suppose! Loved the way nobody batted I eyelid to see a stormtrooper amongst the salarymen…

Danny’s got some issues too, don’t ya think? Have you seen his site? All about cartoons and girl toy dolls.
And he’s so ashamed of himself or lacks any confidence in himself that he doesn’t really like to show up in public as himself much, right?
Why doesn’t he do more videos of himself being himself talking about the things he likes, instead of hiding behind that Star Wars character costume?

I’ve got issues too. I spent time commenting here!
