Weird Cucumber Leaf

June 14th, 2008 by James

I don’t know much about cucumber plants, but since NTV thought this cucumber in Tottori was strange enough to report about, it must be rare:

Yes, it’s verry weird. It’s like having a leaf growing out of an apple or banana.

“I don’t know much about cucumber plants”

I mean, that’s cool and all, you don’t need to know everything about everything, but cucumbers just don’t have leaves on the fruit. It makes less biological sense than a third arm on a human. It’s a scary thought if that’s real.

A third arm on a human sometimes happens, thats just a messed up thing near a place where the normal part should be, or an almost twin.

A leaf on a cucumber would be more like ears growing off of your genitals, it should not happen even in birth defects.

actually, it would be more like a mouth growing on your gonads!
