Asiajin reports that Guinness has awarded a world blogging record to dumb celebrity Yusuke Kamji:

….celebrity blogger Yusuke KAMIJI’s weblog is certified by Guinness World Records as the “MOST UNIQUE USERS ON A PERSONAL BLOG IN 24 HOURS” who is read by the 230,755 unique visitors in one day.

The daily page views is 5-6 million, the highest 13,171,039 PV on April 12th. Also got 56,061 comments on April 17th.

So wait, you become a small time actor, start a crappy band (Shuuchishin) and get ranked as one of worst three contestants consistantly on a TV quiz show, and that makes you a blogging sensation?

I must be doing it wrong.

I don’t understand that. Deadspin averages more than that per day. that’s the most popular sports blog in the US, and I’m sure there are political blogs or entertainment blogs that get more hits.
