Ginormo Sword [game]

This is a popular flash game, but it was previously only available in Japanese (this developer usually translates their other games into English too, so check them out). The wiki is still only available in Japanese though. That’s right, 4-bit though this game may appear, it has a lot to it. So let me give you some advice. This game will steal all your free time (luckily it auto-saves so you can quit to lead a life), but you can finish it faster if you get gold and avoid the harder monsters until late in the game. Mod your sword once you can to strategically slice and dice. One of the best ways to get gold initially is to defeat the 4th boss with buffed magic; it only takes a second once your magic is up to snuff. Remember that Effrit is only vulnerable to weapons modded with his weakness. Get the cat companion once you reach area 12. Once you have the snow area unlocked, click around to discover a secret level where the enemies drop lots of gold. It gets better in the next snow area with another hidden level. After killing a certain boss, the white pyramids will open up. Fight your doppleganger to win the most ginormous sword. Get the seeker (100 mill, occasionally appears in the town on the 8th area). Keep going to the wastes until you have enough money to buff up and win. Avoid killing monsters with legendary names until you encounter them in the wastes later; they’re not worth it until then.
With this advice, it will still take you a week to kill the official last boss. Consider yourself warned about time consumption.

This is what games are all about. We don’t need fancy graphics, just get to the point, straight and simple hack and slash with upgrades to said hack and slashing.

Dot, Efreet is only vulnerable if you have a fire weapon.
Or was it water? That would probably be the one. Defeat the water boss to get water mods
Alright, I have the final sword leveled to over 1000 but I still don’t seem to do much damage to the final boss. Should I mod my weapon?

Made it to the Lizard Assassin in one day, turned it off because my hand started to cramp and get rather painful. Not quite sure how to beat him either. But still, can’t be worse than the Witch or Efreet right? Srsly, I didn’t think that many fireballs were possible to dodge…

Fight Efreet a bunch of times and get fire gems. Since you’ve already powered up one weapon to fight him with water, you’re better off getting a new weapon for the fire enchantment.
Can anyone tell me what to do to kill the “Abyss Worm” in the Temple of the Sun, square 11? I was thinking of getting Emeralds and making my Electric Sword an Earth based weapon, but I can’t FIND any boss dropping Emeralds. Help?
in the first white pyramid there sometimes rotten/rotting corpes they drop emeralds ^.^

only had the katana, and i dont have and fire imbued gems, nor do i know where to find any >_<
To beat him, fight Poseidon (the squid boss on the 7th square) a few times and get water emeralds. Keep adding them to your weapon until you have a water level around 12 or so, and you’ll tear right through him.
Tip: Dont upgrade your starting armour, sace up to buy the best armour from the shop on the east coast, then upgrade that. Upgraded armour really helps.
What’s the strategy to beat Death?
get the plate mail, upgrade it all the way. Use the diamonds from the ice queen to lighten your sword. Use onix from the witch to darken your armour.
Holy fuck! What is that last boss? Is it even the last one?
The true last boss is the face with the flashing eyes!
But of course, you need a lot of time on your hands to fight him =P
I got tired of the game eating up my free time so I just hacked the savefile to give me 99999 stats for everything, the boss on the moon was simple
