I love UFO catchers – but not this kind. One of the local bar/restaurants here has one like that with live lobsters in it. I just think it’s mean. I know they are there to be eaten, but it seems like a lot of extra torture for the poor things.

Lobsters are genetically modified cockroaches.
They are also delicious.

Cruel? No… they have the brain capacity of a cockroach.

Unfair? Yes… those cheapy plastic claws definitely don’t have the strength to hold a lobster out of water.

A fresh lobster for 2ooYen is a inexpensive lunch. Also fresh. Yum Yum.

I think it’s sick, degenerate, cruel, inhumane,
just because people eat animals doesn’t mean those animals can be treated like objects. Its just sick.

That is amazing. I want to play. I can’t stand the idea of lobster (they’re the cockroaches of the ocean), but playing the game might be fun. :)

Have seen couple of these in Taiwan too. And yea, I agree it’s a scam – wiggling heavy lobsters are impossible
