Overweight Monkeys In Osaka

About 50 Macaca mulatta monkeys at Ohama park in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture have been so overfed by tourists they are now massively overweight.
A local report in April said that about 30 per cent of the animals are so huge they struggle to get around their 420-square-meter enclosure.

oh, come on – that monkey is better looking than michael moore. but, seriously, it`s due feeding on people food because people think it`s cute to feed them. yeah, right up until they start snatching your omiyage right out of your hands.
Can’t the tourists actually see that the monkeys are fat enough already?
That’s so sad.
Are they eating Chinese food?
If Chinese food makes you fat, you’d see a lot more obese people in China than in the U.S.. I personally think the monkey was fed fast food from the West.
Maybe you will when the Chinese are as rich as the Americans….
