If the guys look like they're doing too good a job, the opposition is going to try something else. Um, like blowing up the VIP's car while on the road, which everyone knows is pretty popular these days. That having been said, they did look real good. Apparently their job is not to actually kill the would-be assassins--that's obvious by the size of their guns. Strictly defensive. Their job is to act as bullet stops and keep the VIPs moving.
