Were Chinese National Flags Rejected For Entry To Japan By Japanese Customs Officials?

Bringing up the point that human rights abuses happen elsewhere is a secondary issue to the one being discussed. How is it that so many people can bring up these side issues while completely ignoring what is happening right now? Yours are the same standard responses employed by Pro-CPC’ers in this debate.

Lets bring up American, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc… Those are issues in and of themselves and are more or less not related to the issue of Tibet. If you want to debate about the situation, debate it on its own terms not on any other situations. Enough of hte ‘Tuo Quoque’ arguments.

I do know a fair bit about Tibetan history, but I fail to see exactly what that has to do with the CPC’s Tibet policy today. How is it that Tibetans are better off than the where 60+ years ago, but they are barely represented by people of their own background in their own land? Did you ever think of asking Tibetans if they even wanted to ‘have it better’ as you say? We can’t ignore the fact that the PLA invaded Tibet and usurped power from the ruling establishment. It wasn’t necessarily the case that Tibetans wanted them there. Please stop painting the situation as if Tibetans wanted Han Chinese to determine their fate for them.
