Junior High Girls Abuse Police Officers

April 15th, 2008 by James

A group of teens in Saitama Prefecture have been arrested for attacking cops who admonished the girls for riding double on their bicycles:

The melee erupted when a police sergeant, 44, stopped two junior high school girls on a bike around 5:10 p.m. Saturday. One of the girls shoved the officer and said, “The cops can’t do anything.” Her friend then kicked him in the leg, police said.

A second officer was preparing to take the juveniles to a police station when another pair of girls, also riding double, rode up. One of the new arrivals cursed the policeman and spit in his face. The alleged assailant was also arrested.

Which of the following do you consider most frightening:

Is it true that Police in Japan arrests Foreigners without evidence. Kind of like police do against minorities in USA?

Why are schoolgirls frightening? You ever try asking one out?

In order to be able to ride a bicycle in Japan you first have to pass a five-hour written test on the Chinese Classics (in classical Chinese of course), then demonstrate that you can handle a bicycle properly (you may have seen YouTube clips of these tests: they show people trying to ride bikes along narrow planks over mud-filled pools and the like), and then provide the police with the names and addresses since birth of all persons who will ever ride it, as well as a map of all routes you intend to use it on. Plus there is of course compulsory tenth-party insurance and the biannual ’shaken’ inspection where they apply rust to your brakes to ensure the correct decibel level of screeching. And finally you need to be able to realise that all the above is utter crap. Actually Japan is one of the freest countries for bikes – no helmet laws, no fussing about riding on footpaths, and not a lot of parking restrictions either.

So why were the police chasing the schoolgirls…?
I guess it’s easier than trying to go after the robots again.

riding a bike is not a crime but kicking and spitting at a cop wasn’t necessary.

Kicking and spitting a human is definetly a crime no matter if the human happens to have the status of police or not.

This new generation show’s that they are growing up with no respect. The young girls have no respect for themselves either. How is this going to change? I am not sure. Seem like the same problem in other countries.

Yes, yes, this new generation is evil, two kids did something stupid so all teenagers right now have no respect, we’re all going to grow into half-retarded criminals.
Do you really believe what you’ve typed?

How did you come to the conclusion that he was claiming modern youth are evil by the statement, “This new generation shows that they are growing up with no respect”?

Don’t call a gust of wind a typhoon.

As I read all the imput. I fell sorry for the new generation. I think they lack self value. When each of us think we have no value we have no respect for our self. Prehaps the new generation think they have no future and no value for them self.
