The achievements have been remarkable. However, robots should never be in positions to totally replace people. I'm conjuring up images of "The Matrix" and "Battlestar Galactica" here. The main issue still is Japan's rather anemic natural population growth. It's pathetic, disturbing, and perplexing all at the same time. It's like everyone in the Japanese government is aware of the problem, but no one wants to do anything about it. How typically Japanese, eh? Many Japanese companies, such as Honda, have done some tremendous work in the field of robotics. The achievements have been remarkable.

However, robots should never be in positions to totally replace people. I’m conjuring up images of “The Matrix” and “Battlestar Galactica” here.
