"- - the news program Uutismixi - -"
that program is meant for the young...

I wouldn't say Japan is my life (how can a country be a life, btw?) though I could say it's my hobby. I don't even have a life!

No finnish isn't like japanese.
I myself am an estonian guy and we in Estonia practically understand finnish, because it's just very similar to estonian language (and vice versa).
I have learned now japanese several year and It's quite difficult.

When I was visiting Finland last summer then I was suprised how much they have all kind of mangas in small town supermarkets. I would say that I found there more than 10 different kind of titles. So this video talks actually the truth.

"The girls Japanese wasn`t too bad either."

actually it was. "uutismixi wa misete kudasai" doesn't mean "please watch uutismixi". it means "please show uutismixi" and i'm not even sure can they use "wa" when saying that. wo would be better i think, because wa is for subject. and it's goZaimasu, not gosaimasu. and everything else.. lol.

the grammar is also alike. well, not really, but in japan they change the end of the words to make them imperfect etc. and it's the same in finland. like "desu" and "deshita" (<-imperfect of desu). finn. "olla" and "oli". well, what ever :D

I'm Finnish and Japan Probe has been one of my favorite sites for some time already, even though I can't speak japanese. But I'm not quite as fanatical as those girls and other ppl often consider them weirdos. I like Japan a lot but I think their hobby has gone a bit too far :P

And by the way, we finns aren't Anglo-Saxons. Our origin is still a bit hazy but most likely we come from east, probably near the Ural mountains. And that explains why we might have something in common with Japanese ppl. It is said that our language is more related to japan than some Indo-European languages :)

PS. there is no western tv-program that could beat the Japanese ones

I admit some Anglo-Saxon girls do look pretty funky in some of those clothes.

But my remark is kinda pointless since some of the Japanese cosplay costumes look like they are based on a lot of old European empire clothes designs anyway.

The girls Japanese wasn`t too bad either.

Does anyone think the female foreigners who travel to Japan have a better time than the male foreigners? I had fellow female student who was selected into a Tokyo University.

She’s pretty much like the girls in this video, blonde hair, all the stereotypical Anglo-Saxon female features.

I am guessing if you have those features your treated like a queen in Japan!

Peekaboo at the end!

But really, the whole article seemed to have some distasteful tone in it, specifically in the beginning. But now, further proof of Japan's popularity worldwide!
