Time Stops In Ginza & Akihabara

Back in January, the group Improv Everywhere created an amazing video of 200 people “freezing” time in New York’s Grand Central Station. A random search around YouTube revealed that some people have since created similar scenes in Tokyo.

Yes, it’s a conspiracy.
They are trying to prevent the general downfall of Japanese Society by stopping time at random places to keep the LDP in power.

Meh – its impressive to see, but like the NYC one, i find it silly and and kind of pompous.

Im surprised the women in the Akiba one werent plagued by pervy otaku using the ‘time freeze’ as an excuse to look up their skirts!

Those improv everywhere people are kinda annoying. It was cool at first, but now I think if they told people to jump off a bridge, they’d probably do it. smh

This would have been better if someone was taping on the ground though. Good find anyway!

I’ve got to disagree. The Improv everywhere people tend to come up with something original each and everytime. They always one up themselves with each stunt they do and it’s never the same thing over and over again.

I think it’d work better if they really got like 95% of the people involved, then just had a random person round a corner and think there was something wrong with the world.

why would you take a picture of that? it would just look like you too a picture at random in the middle of a crowded street.
