Video Clip 1: Masks, Dwarves, Hedgehog, Rhino. Orchestra, Box Figure

    • The hedgehog shown took 7 years to make.
    • Each figure in the ochestra is made of one piece of paper, with the instruments made from a seperate piece of paper. It took about a 1 meter by 1 meter piece of paper for each of the figures.
    • Towards the end of the clip we are shown some examples of the planning sheets he creates for his origami masterpieces. One plan uses a single sheet of paper to create a figure coming out of a box. The area outlined in blue shows the part of the paper that eventually created the box.
