Michelin Paris Guide Gives Star To Japanese Restaurant
NTV news reports about the first Japanese restaurant ever to get a star rating in Michelin’s Paris guide book:
A Few Notes
- The restaurant, called Aida, specializes in a fusion of Japanese teppanyaki and local French cuisine. (The reporter drinks a class of red wine with her Japanese meal!)
- The 2008 Michelin guide book for Paris features reviews of 529 restaurants. Only two of them are non-French restaurants.
Do you think there are more than two praise-worthy foreign restaurants in Paris?
