China Fined After Japan Protests Soccer Jump Kick

Wow. Most disgusting play I’ve ever seen. I really cannot understand how or why anyone in China would be proud of their team following such poor conduct.

I’m not familiar with how football is played, but I think everyone would agree that flying kicking and throat grabbing your opponent is wrong. But what bothers more is the fact that China was only fined a total of 4500 USD, for both games. I mean, I wonder how many flying kicks, throat grabs, faking and unfair antics are needed to merit the 10 000 USD maximum fine. The way I see it,the East Asian Football Federation basically declared that the total price of all those flying kicks and unfair antics is 4500 USD, meaning, any team in the future wouldn’t be deterred from doing those provided that they can afford that price tag. Or maybe the fine is commensurate to the number of yellow, or whatever colored cards the referee issues, or whatever. Hopefully someone can elaborate on this more.

Anyway, It would be disappointing if China was only given a fine. I mean, it’s only money. If they really wanted to, they can just grab throats and issue flying kicks again in any succeeding matches, having in mind that they can just pay the fines again. Aren’t they going to suspend anyone or something? Or some other penalty that not only hurts (if it even hurts, I mean it’s just 4500 USD) the pocket, but gave the real possibility of disqualification or something similar.

Regardless, I hope that the Japanese player’s bodies and performances are not impaired in the future because of this game. I would hate to think that the Chinese team had this specifically in mind, and that the attacks were actually premeditated even before the game.

It’s a good thing that the Chinese didn’t like the way their team acted, and that they pelted their bus in disgust. But I also can’t help thinking whether or not their reactions would be the same should their team have won against Japan. Looking at the China vs South Korea women’s football match, I felt a bit uneasy when it looked like the Chinese girl’s team mates were even congratulating and thanking her for having done those not-so-honorable antics.

Sorry to say this but I hate fucking people that do not know how to play fair.
When I was in Tae kwon do many people were unfair and were the ones that never got to win ragional championships, only small tournaments.
