perhaps sushi should’ve been kept a secret from the australians.

the stuff that passes for sushi over here…

there are some good places, but a lot of it is futomaki with dry rice.

although we don’t eat a lot of tuna. we eat salmon like it’s going out of style, though.

Yes, us humans should starve to save the animals! epicurus, you start skipping meals first and I’m sure the rest of us will follow.

I remember a commentator on Japanese TV joking about how they (the Japanese) should have kept sushi a secret from the rest of the world because now the Australians are eating all the fish and the Japanese have no food to eat anymore.

FIshermen across the globe aren’t driving the bluefin towards extinction, comsumers who create demand are. Everyone should think about that next time they opt for maguro or toro at the local sushi-ya.
