Yes, I’ve seen them in Shanghai too. I even bought a couple in March or so — a pair for five RMB (like 70 cents). They came out for Year of the Golden Pig. I’m surprised they weren’t all over Japan too.

they have people selling these on the streets of London, except they have a not so cute rat version, so it kinda looks like road kill when its slapped to the floor, plus they also sell a tomato version

I saw something like this before in other shape like eggs and fruits. One problem with the material is that it attracts dust and dirt easily.
