Japanese Reporter Hit With Shovel
A Japanese reporter tries out some high-tech protective clothing developed by d3o Labs:
Why wasn’t he horribly injured? The clothing he was wearing contained a flexible foam that hardens into a protective shell when smacked by the shovel. The foam is currently being used in ski equipment, but it will probably be put to many other uses in the future. For more information on d3o’s super foam, check out this article in Business Week.
