There was a short news report the other day about the training regimen of the GDSF’s elite ranger unit. The most interesting part of the show was probably when the trainees had to kill and eat a poisonous mamushi viper. Here’s the video:
(Judging from their reactions, it’s meat is full of bones and doesn’t taste very good.)

Was it really necessary to snap the snake’s fangs off in the brim of their hat? I mean really, you could’ve just cut it’s head off and be done with it. But, no, they had to snap it’s fangs off. I can only imagine how much that hurt.

I was just making a simple observation.
And actually, it would not bite anything unless cornered. Unless it was of course eating something.
People have to eat, and that snake must look good to them man. Thats my simple observation.
