The Exercise Saddle
As you one spends more and more time in Japan, one tends to adapt to seeing things that the average non-Japanese would probably find incredibly bizarre. One such thing is the exercise saddle, which has survived mere fad status and apparently continues to sell well several years after the first such horseback riding exercise machine was released.

Not only do I no longer even notice that such exercise machines or their commercials might be strange, I actually find myself wanting one. Wouldn’t it be great to combine sitting on one’s ass and typing out blog posts with exercise?
