A Popular Rooster
According to an article in the Mainichi Shinbun, a rooster found wandering in a graveyard has been gained fans among the officers at the police station he is being held at because of his early morning wake-up calls. However, that doesn’t mean he’ll be kept alive:
“He’s great for us at the sleepiest time of the day,” one of Kokko’s policeman fans said. “I hope his owner turns up before we have to take him to be destroyed.”
