How Not to Park Your Car
These kind of stories, whether they happen in Japan or abroad, tend to get a lot of media coverage over here:

Investigators suspect the woman, 22-year-old office worker and Gifu resident Mai Haga, mistakenly stamped on the accelerator instead of the brake as she was parking the vehicle, and are questioning her over the exact cause of the accident.
At around 11:55 p.m. on Friday, Haga’s car mounted a curb in the parking lot of the Mini Stop Gifu-Shimasakaemachi outlet and rammed through its glass wall into the store, local police said.
A 43-year-old man inside the store suffered minor lacerations from broken glass.
