High-Definition Moon

Japan sent the KAGUYA probe to the moon recently, and it has yielded some awesome high definition photos and video. Perhaps the coolest of the videos is one of an Earthrise seen from the moon, which is available for download on JAXA’s site.

The original JAXA clip includes a very space-like soundtrack of silence, which might make for a somewhat boring viewing experience, so Pink Tentacle has added background music and uploaded this very cool Earthrise video to YouTube:
