Raiding An Indian Man’s Shop
A clip from a news report that aired yesterday about fake brand goods:
Authorities raid a shop and expose the jeans it has on sale as counterfeits of the popular Japanese brand Evisu. The owner of the shop, and Indian man, tells authorities he was unaware the goods were fake, and feels unfairly singled out. He claims that many other stores in the area are selling the same things, an excuse the cops don’t give much notice to. He also volunteers the information about the Osaka-based agent who imported the fake jeans from Hong Kong. The show was not clear about what sort of punishment the shop keeper would get for selling fake brand items.
